In-Person Liturgy for Good Friday with Choir
April 7 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Good Friday evening liturgy is a solemn experience highlighting our prayers that ask for God’s mercy in the brokenness of our world. The Church is draped in darkness, with the only evidence of Jesus being a crown of thorns on the altar. After hearing a reading of the Passion of Christ, we offer our prayers as a community for the community. Then, following the community prayers, individuals are invited to offer their personal prayers at the altar gathering around the crown of thorns while a series of reproaches and chants are offered. We close with the hymn “Ah Holy Jesus” and leave in silence.
