Quiet Day: “Mystery and Uncertainty”

Please join us for a Quiet Day focused on the mystery of the space between Good Friday and Easter Sunday. We’ll spend time sitting with God in the mystery of Holy Saturday, and with the questions and uncertainty we may experience in our lives. Our impulse can be to skip past our questions to avoid the discomfort of not knowing. But, what if we open ourselves to the honesty of searching? To letting God be with us in the questions, without demanding the answers?

Our day will include morning prayer, lectio divina, reflection, centering prayer, and a sharing circle at the end of our day. All activities are optional and there is ample time for journaling, drawing, personal prayer, and just resting. A light breakfast and snacks will be available, and participants are requested to bring their own lunch. You are welcome to join us for all or any part of the day. We observe silence from 9:00 a.m. until the sharing circle at 1:30.
