St. Scholastica Book Group

The St. Scholastica book group will meet on Sunday,  March 8, at approximately 12:30 p.m. in the Orange Room. We will discuss Brian D McLaren’s book, ‘Faith After Doubt’. Below is a short excerpt from Amazon:

Then on April 13, in partnership with EfM, we will meet and discuss ‘God’s Joyful Surprise’ by Sue Monk Kidd. We will discuss the Intro and Chapters 1-8 and finish up the book on Sunday, April 19 at around 12:30 p.m.  Both instances will be in the Fireside Room.

In this insightful and inspiring memoir, Sue Monk Kidd remembers the beginnings of her spiritual journey, and explores what it means to be called on an adventure of faith—one in which we finally experience how deeply and wholly loved we are by God.
