Join us in the garden every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. We need volunteers to help with tasks like weeding, pruning, sowing seeds, and harvesting. You can come anytime you are available. Please wear closed-toe shoes, as the ground can be uneven, and bring your own gloves if you have them. We also have some available. There is limited shade, so plan accordingly. No experience is needed, but healthy knees are important. All the produce goes to our Soup Kitchen and the Pathways of Hope food bank “The HUB” in Fullerton.

The Son Shine Ladies are a group of women from St. Andrew’s who gather monthly for tea and fellowship while sharing God’s love through cards and notes of encouragement. Since 2021, they have helped our parish stay connected by sending birthday, anniversary, get-well, and sympathy cards to members of our church family. New members are always welcome! If you would like to join the Son Shine Ladies or support their ministry by donating stamps, please contact Janet Wylie at janetwylie@gmail.com.

The St. Scholastica book group will meet on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at approximately 12:30 p.m. in the Orange Room. We will discuss N. T. Wright’s book ‘Simply Christian – Why Christianity Makes Sense’. Below is a short note from Amazon. Not since C.S. Lewis’s Mere Christianity has such a wise and informed leader taken the time to explain what Christianity is and how it is practiced. In Simply Christian, renowned biblical scholar and Anglican bishop N.T. Wright makes a case for Christianity from the ground up. Walking the reader through the Christian faith step-by-step and question by question, Wright’s Simply Christian offers explanations for even the toughest doubt-filled skeptics, leaving believers with a reason for renewed faith.
Join us for a free jazz concert on the fourth Sunday of the month. Please note that the date has been changed from the third to the fourth Sunday due to scheduling conflicts. Enjoy fantastic music by Joshua Ryan Wood and the West Coast Combo! Depending on the weather, we’ll gather on the lawn or in the Parish Hall. We’ll have signs up so you can find your way! Bring friends and family and make a picnic of it! BYOB and some free snacks and beverages will be available, too.
