Behold: An Advent Program

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church 1231 E Chapman Ave, Fullerton, California

This year, Deacon Hart Roussel will facilitate a special Advent program to run the four Tuesdays before Christmas Eve. The program will be based on the book, “Behold! Cultivating Attentiveness in the Season of Advent” by Pamela C. Hawkins, which is available at Amazon and other online book sellers for under $15.00. We will meet on Zoom Tuesday evenings, 6:30-7:30+, starting November 26 (since Christmas Eve falls on a Tuesday we will meet November 26, December 3, December 10, and December 17). If you would like to participate, please plan to purchase a copy of the book and email Hart at hartrous@gmail.com to sign up by November 20 so we can plan the potluck refreshments.

Christmas Jazz on Sunday!

This month, our regular Sunday jazz combo concert will feature Christmas music! Come on out for a free concert, featuring Joshua Wood and the West Coast Combo. It'll be chilly outside, so we'll be staying cozy inside the Parish Hall. BYOB and snacks! There will also be hot drinks available, along with some Christmas treats to share. See you there!

West Coast Big Band Christmas Concert

Join us at St. Andrew's for a festive big band Christmas celebration! The 18-piece West Coast Big Band will perform beloved Christmas classics, from "Silver Bells" to "Silent Night." Since it's chilly outside, we'll be keeping warm with an indoor performance in the sanctuary. Hot drinks will be available. Admission is FREE!

Christmas Holy Eucharist with Children’s Pageant (Family Service)

The Daughters of the King will be holding a weekly Prayer Group on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. in the Chapel. All are welcome to come pray for those on the St. Andrews Prayer List and those added from the prayer requests from the pews.

Join us on the bus to Hart Roussel’s Ordination to Priesthood

This is a special event for Hart and St. Andrew's. We would love for you to join us! A fee of $30.00 per person is appreciated to help cover the cost of the bus, but it is not required to attend. The event will start at 10 a.m. at St. John's located at 514 W. Adams Blvd., Los Angeles, CA. We need to meet at St. Andrew's at 8 a.m. We are renting a motorcoach from Luxury Bus Rentals, which seats 50 people and includes a restroom on board. We will depart back to St. Andrew’s at 1 p.m. Please email Minerva to let her know if you are interested in attending the event. If finances are an issue, don't hesitate to reach out—we want you to be there!
