In the gospel of John, chapter 13, verse 35 we hear Jesus saying the following. “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
What do people think about Christians these days? Do they think about the love and care demonstrated so obviously in our outreach? Or do they think about the meanness we sometimes seem so ready to dispense?
These are questions every Christian, every church, every denomination should be thinking about. How are we known? What sorts of fruits are we bearing?
Do others recognize us as the disciples of Jesus Christ? Something to ponder.
