Church School meets on Sunday mornings at 11 a.m. in Moody Hall. Classes are for children in kindergarten through eighth grade or pre-high school. Children attend class during the first part of the 11 a.m. worship service and then join their families at the Offertory time so that they may all receive Communion together. Nursery care is available in the Blue Room in Moody Hall during the 11 a.m. service for children too young for Church School. If you have any questions, please contact our Sunday School Coordinator Honour Harry at honour.a.harry@gmail.com.
Join us on February 16 for an important event at our parish. Bishop C. Franklin Brookhart will be visiting St. Andrew’s at 11 a.m. After the service, we will have a potluck luncheon. We hope to see you there! Food contributions: - Last Names A-M: Bring a side dish or dessert. - Last Names N-Z: Bring a main dish. Tea will be served, and you're welcome to bring breakfast baked goods like scones or muffins. We’ll also have a cake for our celebration. For questions, contact Melissa Rigler at melissa@saintandrewsfullerton.com. Note: Loose offerings will go to the Bishop's Discretionary Fund.
Come on out for a free jazz concert from 4-6 p.m.! Bring a picnic, bring the family, and enjoy some fantastic music from Joshua Wood and the West Coast Combo. Join us on the lawn--bring a blanket or some chairs and make a picnic of it! BYOB and some free snacks and beverages will be available, too.
The Daughters of the King will be holding a weekly Prayer Group on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. in the Chapel. All are welcome to come pray for those on the St. Andrews Prayer List and those added from the prayer requests from the pews.
We open our Clothes Closet at 5:15 p.m. every Friday. All are welcome.
We provide a hot prepared meal as well as a sack lunch for the following day. Do you have a few hours to spare on Friday nights? Join us at St. Andrew's Soup Kitchen to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who rarely have a hot meal. Fridays at 5:30 p.m. St. Andrew's is in need of dedicated volunteers to help serve dinner and assist with cleanup. Their time and effort will provide warmth, nourishment, and a sense of community to our guests. No experience is necessary – just a kind heart and a willingness to help. All are welcome. To volunteer, please contact office@saintandrewsfullerton.com
Volunteers are welcome to help in the garden every Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Volunteers help with weeding, pruning, raking, sweeping, sowing seeds, thinning new seedlings, transplanting, harvesting and other gardening tasks depending on the need and the season. We welcome your help anytime you are available. Please wear closed toe shoes as our grounds can be uneven, and bring your own gloves if you like. We have some available if you don’t have your own. There is very little shade, so plan accordingly. No prior gardening experience is necessary; although healthy knees are important. All of the harvest from the garden is taken to Pathways of Hope food bank, the HUB.
Join us for a Quiet Day as we look towards Lent. Our time together will include Morning Prayer, Lectio Divina, Centering Prayer, and time for personal reflection. All activities are optional and there will be ample time for journaling, drawing, personal prayer, and rest. You are welcome to join us for all or any part of the day. Coffee and breakfast snacks will be available and lunch will also be provided. We will observe silence starting at 9:00 a.m. and will close our time together with a sharing circle. Please RSVP to: office@saintandrewsfullerton.com or barbarajanettewood@gmail.com
