Seeds of Hope Garden

Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church 1231 E. Chapman Ave., Fullerton, CA, United States

Volunteers are welcome to help in the garden every Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Volunteers help with weeding, pruning, raking, sweeping, sowing seeds, thinning new seedlings, transplanting, harvesting and other gardening tasks depending on the need and the season.  We welcome your help anytime you are available.  Please wear closed toe shoes as our grounds can be uneven, and bring your own gloves if you like.  We have some available if you don’t have your own.  There is very little shade, so plan accordingly. No prior gardening experience is necessary; although healthy knees are important.  All of the harvest from the garden is taken to Pathways of Hope food bank, the HUB.

The goal of CENTERING PRAYER is to attend to the natural intimacy with God deep within us. CENTERING PRAYER is one of my favorite forms of prayer. Nothing is required of me except to show up, quieting my mind, which tends to be pretty full most of the time with thinking and planning and worrying, trying to get ahead or stay afloat. CENTERING PRAYER is a remarkably simple method of […]
